PHP function filetype
This function returns the type of the argument.
Syntax filetype
arg is a file or directory name.
filetype(arg);
Return
- fifo
- char
- dir
- block
- link
- file
- unknown
Note
As the result of this function are cached, use clearstatcache() function to clear the cache.
